- JACLaS International Award and Symposium 2024 Held
At the 56th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Medical Laboratory Sciences (JCLS) and the Japan Association for the Advancement of Clinical Laboratory Equipment, Reagents, and Systems (JACLaS), JCLS and JACLaS held the 2nd International Award 2024 for students studying clinical laboratories.
As a result of a broad call for student abstracts, and after a rigorous review by the JCLS International Committee members, four university students received the JACLaS International Award 2024.
The JACLaS International Award and Symposium was held on October 5th at the Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center (in Room 10), chaired by Dr. Hashiguchi and Dr. Kudo of the JCLS International Committee. In it, the award lectures were given by award winners and the presentation by the invited speaker, Dr. Pitak, President of AMTT (the Association of Medical Technologists in Thailand), was held.
An award ceremony was held during the welcome party in the evening of the same day, where the award certificates, plaques, and prize money were presented.
