JACLaS International Award 2023 Ceremony Held - Japanese Association of Clinical Laboratory Systems

At the 55th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Medical Laboratory Sciences (JCLS) and the Japan Association for the Advancement of Clinical Laboratory Equipment, Reagents, and Systems (JACLaS), JCLS and JACLaS held the International Award 2023 for students studying clinical laboratories. This was the first time this year to accept applications from overseas.

As a result of a broad call for student abstracts, five university students received the JACLaS International Award 2023.

The award lecture was held on October 7 at the Pacifico Yokohama Conference Center (in Room 10), chaired by Dr.Kan and Dr.Hashiguchi of the JCLS International Committee. Four of the award winners visited Japan and gave lectures.

In addition, an award ceremony was held during the joint information exchange meeting in the evening of the same day, where the award certificates, plaques, and prize money were presented.
